Back to the gym today. Sadly, I didn’t make it in for a cardio day last week, so it was a two workout week. The plan is to do more this week, as I (hopefully) don’t have anything going on at lunchtime or otherwise that should get in the way of a workout.
Today the gym was oddly barren. Only one of the racks was in use when I got there, so no waiting. The other racks sat empty for most of my workout as well. Nice to be able to just work out right away.
Squats today seemed a bit tough compared to Wednesday, but still not so tough that I needed to wait for more than 90 seconds. I’m going to continue on with five additional pounds per workout for now, just because I don’t want to overdo it and hurt myself.
Bench press was still too easy today at 95 lbs. It’s going to get tough again soon enough, though, so I’ll stick with adding 5 lbs to this one as well.
Barbell row continues to be easy enough that I can work on my form. I’m still not at the point where my back stays neutral without me having to focus on it, but I’m getting there.
